Mohammed Babandede, Comptroller-General of the Nigerian Immigration Service, has revealed the specifications of the new visa policy released at the beginning of the year. The new visa policy is said to be response to same measures and visa policy restrictions put in place by other countries on the Nigerian citizens. The ComptrollerGeneral made known the right and control Nigeria has over who enters its territory or not. He said that the visa restriction is not a ban for people going for short visits, but it is a ban for those who want to take residency
