Neverland was first put on the market in 2015, six years after the death of the famous entertainer. It was made available for 100 million dollars, but attempts to sell the ranch proved abortive especially given reports of sexual misconduct pitted against Michael Jackson with children in the ranch.
According to reports, Burkle was flying over the area when he saw it and called Colony’s founder, Tom Barrack. He offered to buy Neverland, even though it wasn’t up for sale.
