Mr. Olugbenga Olanrewaju Oyerinde, Special Adviser to Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State, on Central Business District (CBD), has implored Lagosians to benefit from the various intervention programmes put in place by the present administration in a bid to reduce poverty and make lives better.

Oyerinde made this known while speaking at the coronation of Oba Sheriff Adeshina Bello, Onigbanko of Igbankoland which held in Irede area of Oriade Local Council Development Area, Lagos State.

He, however, laid emphasis on the unwavering commitment of the Lagos State Government to ensure good governance in the state

He said that, ‘The government has come up with many social intervention programmes to address the challenges facing residents in the state. The various ministries for instance, the Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment is there for people to utilise.’

He also disclosed that, ‘There are over five thousand job creation programmes lined up for residents but they are not aware. Lagosians have not been able to tap fully into the massive potentials of the state, hence, it seems the government is not doing much.’

He also added by saying that, Oba Sheriff Adeshina Bello, the newly appointed monarch, has pledged his commitment to bring transformation to the community while canvassing the support of government.
