The Secretariat of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) is said to have been set ablaze by hoodlums in Akure, the capital of Ondo State.

This report came hours after the state secretariat of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was blazed.

The all-ruling APC, had accused the opposition party, PDP, for the attack on its secretariat.

However, two vehicles parked within the premises of the Ondo PDP secretariat alongside the building were said to have been set on fire too.

Kenney Peretei, Spokesman of the Ondo PDP chapter, said the act of destruction by the miscreants was pure cruelty.

He revealed how shocking it was for the party’s secretariat to be set on fire just few hours after the APC had accused it of burning its secretariat.
