Born on 20 March 1985, in Lagos, Nigeria, Mary Njoku grew up with a deep passion for the arts. She attended Amuwo Odofin High School, National College Gbagada, and Navy Town Secondary School for her secondary education, where her love for acting first took root. Determined to pursue her dreams, she went on to study English language at the Lagos State University. She also attended London Film Academy in the United Kingdom where she took a course in Movie Production.  

Mary Njoku’s acting career began in the early 2000s when she made her debut in a Nollywood movie titled “Home Sickness”. She appeared in several movies and quickly gained recognition for her exceptional talent and on-screen presence. Her performances in films such as “Blackberry Babes” and “Hustlers” showcased her versatility and ability to portray diverse characters with depth and authenticity. Her role as Jumoke in the highly successful television series “Dear Mother” catapulted her to stardom.
