Prof. Akin Abayomi, Lagos State Commissioner for Health, has stated that over 48 percent of those who tested positive to COVID 19 in the state were not aware that they had contracted the virus.
Abayomi made this known at a briefing in Alausa on Monday. He disclosed that 16 percent of COVID 19 cases in the state were severe, while one percent are in critical condition.

48 percent of people infected with COVID 19 have very mild symptoms or are even asymptomatic. Some of them don’t even know they’re carrying the virus,’ he added.
