Dr Adeola Olabamiji, a Nigerian doctor on Twitter has advised others against travelling to Finland. Dr Olabamiji explained that there are no better opportunities in Finland provided it is not the same way she left it.
According to the doctor, she did the meager job of cleaning for almost five years citing that ‘they won’t give us any other type of jobs’. She also said that as a practicing doctor she was unable to collect samples from her patients, who were recruited for medical study.

She mentioned racism as the prime factor. In her own words, ‘Being black was my sin!’ she said.
Dr. Adeola, therefore, asked Nigerians not to seek greener pastures in Finland emphasizing that ‘Don’t go there! You deserve better!’ She, however, endorsed Sweden, saying it is ‘in-between’.
