Mr. Fatai Adekunle Ayoola, Chairman of Ajeromi-Ifelodun LGA in Lagos, has announced the ban of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW) in Ajegunle. The ban includes motorcycles (Okada) and tricycles (Keke Marwa) operators. 

This was a responses of the LGA to the devastating effect of the looting, arson and other violence perpetuated by hoodlums during the #EndSARS

The Chairman, in a statement, stated that the ban would take effect immediately, and would remain effective until conclusions are made on the investigations carried out in the looting, arson, and destruction of buildings, properties, bank facilities, and vehicles inside the council secretariat.

He, stated that relevant security agencies and personnel, as well as CP Hakeem Odumosu, Commissioner of Police in Lagos State, Alhaji Musiliu Akinsanya (MC Oluomo), NURTW Lagos Council Chairman, and others have been duly informed on the latest development.
