Davido’s latest single, ‘FEM’ has risen to 1.02 million unique views from Nigeria alone and five million views within the first week of its release worldwide. ‘FEM’ is Davido’s first official single in 2020. The song, which is a Yoruba onomatopoeia for ‘shut up’, is addressed to people who ‘talk too much’.
‘To the people talking about you because they don’t understand your shine, dey don’t understand your grace, dey don’t understand why they can never be what you are or have what you have, we say #FEM!’ Davido announced on social media pages.
‘FEM’ has officially surpassing Davido’s previous record with ‘Blow My Mind’. The single has also massively topped a number of music charts including top streaming charts like iTunes and Shazam.
